Dr. Kathleen Coss is an attending child and adolescent psychiatrist at the Natchaug Hospital Joshua Center Southeast and Joshua Center Old Saybrook programs who is Board Certified in Psychiatry. Dr. Coss has worked at Natchaug since 2005 as a per diem and returned to the Active Staff in 2011. Dr. Coss worked in both the inpatient and outpatient psychiatric programs at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital and was the Medical Director at Child Guidance Clinic of Southeastern Connecticut from 1990 to 2000 when they merged with Child and Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut. She has worked with both children and adolescents for over 27 years. Dr. McKnight has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology from Clark University and graduated from the University Of Connecticut School Of Medicine. Her psychiatry residency was completed at the Institute of the Living in Hartford, Conn. She is a diplomat of both the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and of the American Association of Adolescent Psychiatry.
